Got a question? Let us know.
Now in our 15th year we we can truly say we have a dedicated following... people who are, like us, passionate about their real ale and wouldn't miss Datchet Beer Festival for anything!
However, if you find yourself on our site for the first time... a very warm welcome to you.
Below, are a series of questions (and answers) that we have fielded over the last 14 years and you may find useful ahead of joining us at the Datchet Beer Festival for the first time.
Can I buy tickets on the door?
There may be tickets available on the door for the Connoisseur's Afternoon (12pm-5pm), but Thirsty Friday and The Beerlover's Evening sessions will almost certainly be
sold out, and only advance purchase of tickets via this website is advised.
Can I pay by debit or credit card during any session of the Datchet Beer Festival?
Yes! Since 2023 we haved accepted card payments (contactless/chip-and pin) or cash, for your purchases - the nearest cash-point to the Festival is approx 10mins
walk.
Is the Festival wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the site is all on one level and we have a ramp to make the hall accessible to wheelchairs and mobility scooters. We also have disabled toilet
facilities.
What food is available to purchase at the Festival?
For 2025, details of our NEW food options are (for now) under wraps. But, what we
can tell you, is that there will bwe a range of bar snack options, all of gourmet quality and our artisan pizzas will accompany your chosen tipple, perfectly.
Are children allowed at the Festival?
Well-behaved children are welcome at the Connoisseurs Afternoon afternoon session, when accompanied by the ticket holding adult(s), however children are NOT
permitted to attend either of the Friday or Saturday Evening sessions.
Is the Festival easily accessible by public transport?
Our venue is a mere 10-minutes easy walk from Datchet train station from which trains run directly to Windsor & Eton Riverside and and also into London Waterloo via,
Wraysbury, Staines, Richmond, Clapham Junction and Vauxhall (station stops vary dependent on train service selected).
Can I bring my own food/drink to the festival?
No, only food and drink items purchased at the Datchet Beer Festival may be consumed at the Festival. Please do not bring your own food (or drink) items. This is a charity event, and all proceeds from the event go to the nomiated charity, so every sale helps this cause. Festival staff will respectfully ask anyone found consuming food or drink from outside the festival to either stop, or to leave the festival.
Do you cater for vegetarians and vegans?
Drink and food items suitable for vegetarians (V) or vegans (Vg), will be marked appropriately on our festival guide and food menus.
